About us
We are a small garden centre and nursery based in the village of Henllan in West Wales. The proprietor, Darren Shipp, began the business in 2016 after spending over ten years working for his family's winery and gaining a keen interest in all things tasty and edible. As the business originally focused on growing plants for the kitchen garden, it began under the name Ediplants. In 2020, after successfully expanding the nursery to now supply a large selection of ornamental as well as edible plants, Darren decided to change the name to Bedwen Plants.
Still focussed on specialising in edibles, our range of herbs, fruit and vegetables is ever expanding. We have all your essentials such as tomatoes, mints, and strawberries, as well as the more unusual such as cape gooseberries, wormwood, and wasabi.
