    The seller was very responsive and communicative. The item was well packaged and delivered on time. The item itself (a vintage rug) was very dirty, and I have had to pay to have it professionally cleaned (costing over £100). The seller does state that they don’t wash items, and don’t accept returns, so I should maybe have been a bit more wary about buying something like this without seeing it in the flesh. It’s a tricky business. Lesson learnt.

    The Seller was very prompt with the extra information I requested about the chaise longue, before I made the decision to buy. The purchase went ahead with no issues. The delivery was swiftly arranged and made on time. I had difficulty with releasing the payment upon delivery, because e-bay dealt with this sale from a business differently from other similar transactions and I was initially at a loss as to what to do. My Builder checked the piece on arrival and found it to be as described on e-bay
