After I received my Opal, I was disappointed to see that in my opinion it did not fit the description. When I contacted the Seller by Email I received a very rude reply because I commented that in my opinion the item was falsely advertised and a major flaw in the Opal was not mentioned in the ad. The only good thing was the colour advertised. The seller accused me of not being honest. This incident has put me off buying online and in future I will purchase what I see personally.

Obviously doesn't know what a boulder opal is and didn't bother to read my description or look at the pictures which show the side of the opal thickness and explains how boulder opal is formed and cut. The flaw complained about was that the opal was not completely flat. It's very frustrating for sellers when people like this leave negative feedback because they don't know what they are buying and then accuse the buyer of false advertising. Lodged a return then changed mind.

Lighter in person than the pictures and this is not a black or even a semi black opal, it is a light opal!!2 of the 4 opals bought are not as described and the seller wouldn't move a finger to fix HER mistake... She only had to contact ebay, but wouldn't, my parcel got stuck at customs for 9 days and took a month to arrive, she also wrote a wrong postal code which led to my parcel being redirected on the day i should've received it..... Worse seller ever!!

I always attach a printed address label straight from eBay so the address is what the buyer puts into eBay. Customs is a different matter and they can hold parcels at random for inspection. Opinions vary.
