    We are grateful that things are getting back to normal in Japan as we welcome many visitors from all over the world, especially in Tokyo, Kyoto, and the Osaka area. In parts of the world, however, tragedy and unrest still hover like dark clouds over us. We hope and pray for a world where everyone can live a happy, peaceful life.

    Japan’s long spiritual history begins with Shintoism and over time has become a complex culture consisting of the beliefs of many religions and philosophical teachings. Traditional Japanese arts and crafts reflect this complexity and show the skills, techniques, and methods that have been passed down for generations.
