Burty’s Timber is a family run business based in Angus, Scotland.
We focus on sustainability and finding the best use for every tree. We aim to source our wood locally from wind-blown or fallen trees that larger sawmills would disregard.
Scotland’s natural, harsh environment makes the timber challenging to work with but produces some of the most stunning markings, colours and patterns you will see.
Specialising in larger logs from older trees we believe we have found a balance in working in a way which benefits the environment whilst producing remarkable and unique pieces of timber.
