    Casual Minds Matter CIC was started in Jan 2022 by 5 friends from Burnley. Starting with just a 2hr meeting on a Monday evening, we then went into full time offices in August 2022. We now provide
    counselling and weekly group sessions on Anxiety, Grief, PTSD, Suicide Awareness & Prevention and Anger Management for the people of Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale. We also run a Men’s mental health group on Wednesday evenings 6-7.30pm.

    We work in partnership with lots of local agencies including the D.W.P. HMS Prison and Probation Services, Inspire Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services and the Social Prescribers in local G.P. Practices
    signpost their patients to us.

    We are also on the Police Mental Health Diversion Panel, rehabilitating offenders in the community.

    We’ve recently opened a men’s clothing shop alongside the Mental Health & Wellbeing Centre in Charter Walk Burnley, the profits of which provide the free of charge services we offer. We aren’t funded by the Gov.
