About us

Vintage Countryside is family run business. My parents have sold collectibles and antiques for over 40 years and now I too have caught the bug! So we do this together. Dad and I both source items, Dad does the cleaning, fixing, organizing, packaging and delivering to the shippers. I handle marketing, researching, listing, customer service, bookkeeping and whatever else comes along. My Mom loves to say she is the smartest one, she "collects the money".
We all love something different, so our store has something for everyone. You'll find anything from Vintage Kitchenware and Planters, to Paper Ephemera and Disney items, to great Mid Century and Vintage collectible items. We love finding new homes for these treasures and don't believe in throwing something away, just because it's old. We want to give these items a second life.

Not good.Item arrived with many dark stains not visible in pictures. Also wanted to make sure basket wasn’t see-through or “translucent”- something I had specifically asked. It was translucent, so the dark stains in the front were so much more visible because the basket was almost see-through. Buyer was not helpful or willing to accept any responsibility for my negative reaction. I think this is the first negative review I’ve left on ebay. Now I’m stuck with a mottled, see thru wast

I am sorry buyer was unhappy with their purchase. Buyer states I wouldn't accept any responsibility, I did offer a full refund if the buyer returned the item. Buyer never opened a return and threatened negative feedback if we could not figure another way of handling it. I'm guessing buyer wanted to keep the item and receive a refund. This is after I worked with the buyer to get the price down to a total that would be acceptable to their husband. Item was also exactly as pictured.
