My store name comes from the name of the gift shop aboard the ss Rotterdam 5, an Ocean Liner built by Holland America Line in 1959. The shop itself was named after Lijnbaan, the main shopping district in the city of Rotterdam in the Netherlands.

My shop is mostly cruise ship / ocean liner ephemera and collectibles. And for many years on Ebay I was know as "Dam Collectibles" as I was primarily buying and selling Holland America Line memorabilia. Recently, however, I've expanded to sales of a number of things. With that change, I elected to change my store name to being more inclusive of what I was selling, while still giving a nod to my start here and the original Holland America Line focus.
