About us

We have a bricks and mortar shop in the North East of England (MegaCity5) which is open most weekends (sometimes) and by appointment, specializing in vintage comics and toys. Having worked in publishing, wholesale and apprising we moved almost fully into retail in 2022. We also work as a broker for a number of collectors and sell high volumes of hard to find comics most of the time starting at 99p. We do not use global shipping we work with buyers to combine shipping for all orders both domestic or international letting you spend more money on products. The shop has a stock of over 50,000 books at any one time and we focus predominantly but not exclusively on Bronze and Silver age books. We also sell toys cards and any other shiny object that happens to turn up.... unless we keep it, that happens. We take packaging seriously, everything is packed in strong mailers and tracked.

    As described excellent value but then it was an auction. The packaging was robust for transit although bagged the comic was not boarded. The delivery took almost a week to arrive this is in no way the sellers fault and the seller was very helpful from the outset the parcel was correctly and clearly addressed so the delay (it took six days to arrive) is the fault of Royal Mail it did arrive on the last evening of the estimated arrival.

    Very happy with my purchase case as the book is in great condition and as described, I bought the book for a great and realistic price so it was a good deal.
