About us

If you know Iowa City and comic books, you know Daydreams Comics. A staple of downtown for almost four decades, long time owner Zach Power recently sold the business and has branched out into a new venture: Daydreams Collectibles. Keeping within the world of comic/collecting culture, he is focusing on all the things you won't find in the shop. A focus on trading cards, toys, statues, video games, and other items creates a new space to shop for items, without any impact on the day to day activities at the shop proper. We offer local delivery in the Iowa City/Cedar Rapids area, and will be setting up at conventions now and then. Please reach out for any items you may be after, as there are literally tens of thousands of items not currently listed!
