About us

This site stocks books on the applied arts and furniture from the 1850s to the 1980s. Many are out of print and rare and are in themselves beautiful objects but also contain beautiful objects. They have mainly been collected as a resource for attributing designs and designers for the antique and 20c design market. They come from all over the world but with an emphasis on Scandinavian and Italian 20th century design and English Interwar and Postwar Design. My own interest is in furniture glass textiles and metalwork so these may well be more prominent than other disciplines.
