About us

Emmaus Salford is a charity that supports people who have been homeless by providing them with a home and with meaningful work in a community setting, our work is centred around a residential community where people who have experienced homelessness come to make it their home for as long as they need it to be. People who join our community, known as companions, commit to working to the best of their ability in our social enterprises and with the running of the community itself. Their daily work is an important part of the Emmaus ethos because it gives focus each day, an opportunity for development and allows companions to directly contribute to the success of our charity. Whilst at Emmaus Salford people can access individual support, training and personal development to gain the skills and resilience needed to move forward positively with their lives.

    Ver happy with the item, much less so with Evri who said they'd delivered the item when the picture showed a different front door and letterbox. Somehow after complaining to them, it arrived late the next evening. It wasn't delivered by a neighbour but a guy in a van so they must have recovered it from the wrong address.. Weird! A lot of time wasted chasing it up but the seller looked in to it too, so all ended well.
