I was offered £1 off the price, I used the ebay facility to make a counter-offer of a further £1 - bit of healthy to & fro, I thought. It was turned down and forever after I was reminded by a red banner across the advert - YOU TURNED DOWN THE OFFER - and the price for me returned to normal. Silly thing but I almost went somewhere else but, well, paid up in the end. Not very nice though.
