About us

Hi, I'm Mel, the founder of Flowerdale Valley.

My passion for skincare began in my teens when I experimented with natural remedies from my mums old beauty books—some more useful than others! I also spent a fortune on beauty products, only to realize that many were more about marketing than results.

Over time, I educated myself about skincare ingredients and learned to keep things simple. My love for food led me to a career in cooking, and because I lived on an old beekeeper's farm, I started making honey-based wedding favors. That’s when I discovered a box of beeswax, sparking an idea. Inspired by Cleopatra’s beauty rituals, I created Bee Balm—now our best-selling product.

Encouraged by its success, I studied cosmetic science and expanded our range to include moisturizers, serums, and more. At Flowerdale Valley, we create honest, effective skincare to help your skin look and feel its best—so you can focus on enjoying life.
