Welcome to Fly By Night Drums. We are a small mom and pop company that prides itself on providing superior customer service. We are in business for those who would like to build their own drums and drum kits. Our company is owned and operated by people with visual disabilities. (Hence the name: Fly By Night). With a little elbow grease and a very few tools, you can build your own drums that are as good or better than those purchased in the big music stores. When you build your own drums, you get to choose your favorite components, colors, shell material etc. etc. and you will spend a lot less money for a fully customized drum. A great place to start is with one of our complete premium snare drum kits. Each snare drum kit comes with everything you will need for the build. This is a DIY kit, so be prepared to do some work. The effort that you put in to your build will not only add value to the drum, but it will also give you a sense of pride knowing that you did the work.

    Grant is great! Packs and ships quickly! The problem lies with USPS! For some reason the PO in Greensboro sent it to Long Island and then to Indianapolis before finally coming to Cleveland!! The rims I ordered are fine and are exactly what I wanted! Thank you Grant and nice job! Not so much for the USPS!
