About us
Based in the Essex country side manufacturing from a five acre site , we make components in both solid oak , solid walnut and steel, for floating cantilivers stairs and centre spine stairs .
with our own onsite timber mill & jointing lines , we have production capacity for over 1000 treads per week. Established in 1989 we work with the top grades of timber in Both European Prime grade oak and Prime grade American Walnut , we do not work with any veneers or engineered products . Our Product.
We only work with solid prime grade European oak sourced from some of the top wood mills in Europe. Using prime grade oak not only allows us to make our stair treads virtually knot free but it also gives them that superior look and feel.
We machine our oak, in-house to a finished 25mm wall thickness which adds huge strength to each tread meaning it will not bend within itself .
