My dad frequented the coastline so recently devastated by hurricanes, rains and tornadoes. He went mining in the mountains, attended rock shows and went on many field trips. To aid this area in recovery, all new listings include a donation to the Carolina Coastal Community Hurricane Relief Fund.
Since I'm presently exploring the rock cave, I'm also listing some of Dad's commemorative pins and other memorabilia.
My dad collected gems and minerals for over 30 years. He used to say he was going to open a store some day. I think he was waiting for me to retire and do it with him. He certainly left me the inventory. Mid-2024 marks my own retirement - and with that more time to dig deeper into this mineral collection I've inherited.
