About us

Froghill Tack started in 1980 in a small caravan by mother and daughter Soo and Mandy. It soon out grew the caravan and we moved into a room in the farm house. By 1986 it was to big for the room and we converted the former milking shed into the shop we are in today. In 2018 Mandy's daughter Emily joined the team to help run the shop and Soo stood back to enjoy her retirement and concentrate on her beloved garden. Sadly Soo passed away in 2022 but the shop continues to go from strength to strength.

Froghill Tack was also a finalist at the 2023 equestrian business awards for best retailer of the year sadly not a win but a great achievement for a small shop on the Isle Of Wight in a strong category.
