  Works wonderfully without any lighting issues. Top IPS screen as described. Seller is nice and messaged me apologising that he left a few light scratches on the back of it from cleaning it before sending it for delivery(light scratches don't bother me, but the sincerity is appreciated). Packaging kept the item safe and it delivered on time. Price was also good for a PAL region model, you can usually only find Japanese ones for sale but those would complicate the system transfer from my old 3DS.
