  The ring was advertised as being size 14. I paid $230 tariff on the ring because the seller told me that I would be able to get the tariff back if I wanted to return the ring. When I receive the ring the ring is at most a size 7, and is useless. Now I wasn’t followed by the DHL that there is no way to get a tariff back when I return an item. So it cost me $230 to find out that the seller advertises the ring as being the wrong size

  Dear customer, the listings of the two rings reported the Italian size. Being Marco Bicego an Italian brand and also being our jewelry based in Italy, this is the first time we hear such a complain. It is only logical we use the Italian size in our listings. No US customer ever reported it before, yet we sold many rings overseas. You could ask for a duty drawback to the US customs duty office through the Automated Broker Interface since you are returning the rings. You will get the refund.

  Zero stars. Buyer beware. I am out of pocket about $240 for payment of US Customs fees which the seller refuses to reimburse, even though the seller shipped a bracelet different than the bracelet shown in the listing photograph and the eBay listing never disclosed seller’s intentIon to ship a different item . Initially the seller also refused to issue a return shipping label (cost about $65),stating that other buyers hadn’t complained when the seller shipped an item different than in its listing

  Dear customer, first of all we are not in charge of US customs duty refunds. You have to request them to the local customs duty office. Also, we had to wait to issue a return shipping label because the shipment was not marked as delivered yet. We promptly issued it as soon as we saw the shipment marked as delivered. Last but not least, bracelets from Marco Bicego may come with a few different stones from their catalogue pictures, but we accepted the return anyway. Your feedback is unfair.

  The bracelet was very well packaged and arrived all the way from Italy in just a few days via DHL. Even after paying for shipping, the 6% state sales tax charged by eBay and around 6% duty to US Customs, I still saved 30% off Marco Bicego’s list price of $2,800. I’m a very happy customer.
