John was given voluntary redundancy from AEI Cables (Gravesend) in 1991 and started a business in 1992, in partnership, which was initially known as EME 92 (European Marketing Enterprises). They specialised in making cable samples and gifts for exhibitions for some of the UK’s large cable manufacturers.
A chance conversation with a member of John’s former employers lead to an order for Trophies for the Bowls Section of their social club. Accounts were opened with some of the UK’s major trophy importers, and a small display was made in the EME workshops. From this one encounter, a new business direction was launched.
John and his team embrace modern technology, along with old fashioned customer service.
