About us

At Hallswood, we help many hundreds of animals and birds every year – everything from hedgehogs to deer, cats to bats.

Hallswoods mission is to rescue, support, and advocate for wildlife, and in special cases domestic animals, through rehabilitation, education, and community outreach. And, where an animal cannot be released or rehomed but can live a happy and pain-free life, provide a forever home and sanctuary for that animal or bird.

Over the years the sanctuary has continued to grow, expanding and adding as the need arises.
With the help of an amazing team of volunteers and supporters, we have managed to rebuild better and stronger buildings, adding an animal hospital, specialist hog-hospital, a brand new drive, a fish pond for rescued goldfish, and much more

She pro-actively contacted me to let me know she passed my address on her way home from work, and offered to refund my postage (which she duly did) in favour of hand delivery.     This was purchased from a charity so I will be generous with my feedback. The jacket arrived today, well packed and in a very timely fashion. However the description stated that it was in good condition and told us to look at the photographs to see the condition. 3 photographs showed the external condition, there were non showing the holes on the lining or the heavily stained under arms. As this is for charity, I don't begrudge the money spent. Please give a fuller description next time.
