  The ad said 8" square.....however, was not square and smaller. The seller offered to take it back but didn't offer a free return. The shipping cost was half the purchase price, so I decides to keep it and sell it at a break even. I wasn't happy with that at all. My neutral position was so it didn't hurt the seller.
