The compressor was literally bolted to the bottom of a very nice shipping box, however it was not secured from being dropped sideways or upsidedown. There was no bubbles or any kind of stuffing surrounding the compressor. So the compressor got ripped of the box and was tossed around during the shipping. Surprisingly no damage. It's being working for a week now with no problems.
