The chair was extremely well packed and arrived in four pieces - the swivel base, the casters, the post and the seat itself. Assembly was a breeze, with the most difficult part being installing the casters - not a huge deal. The seller included installation instructions. The only downside, and I suspect it was an oversight, was the communication - I wrote to them prior to purchase but got no response.
