It was exactly as described , box was damaged but item was very well wrapped and box taped together extensively to compensate, shipping was on high side especially considering the condition of the box but it was I paid it cuz this was such a unique piece at a good price and in great shape I'm happy with the item and overall good experience

I'm really sorry you weren't happy with the box. Sometimes on rare occasions it's impossible to find the right box and we have to make our own. The price for shipping is mainly because we are in Canada and we have very expensive shipping in our country it really has very little to do with the shipping materials as we don't charge for them. Again I'm really sorry that you weren't complexly happy.
