However, simply sending the lens in its original box within a plastic mail bag with no extra packing was not good enough. The lens could have easily arrived damaged in transit. I have purchased and sold many camera lenses and optics online and never come across such inadequate packaging. Admittedly the postage charge was very low but that does not justify such a cavalier approach. Fortunately, it is a very sharp.
