It was inside several boxes and the outside was plastered with layers of heavy particle board the thickness of 1/4 inch plywood and gobs of tape. Was he worried about a herd of rampaging elephants trampling on it? Cushioned with bubble wrap. Arrived in perfect shape. Private carrier. As described. Rare book.
