About us

Hey young world,
I'm a DJ & collector from the Portland, Oregon. I'm a strong believer in preserving media and information. Streaming services will come and go but if you own a copy, you have it for as long as it holds together. I look for interesting tapes everywhere I go. I want to share my love of dead media with everyone who shares the same interests.

Check out my collection of VHS tapes, cassettes, records, and other random pieces from my own collection and the quirky selections available around the Pacific Northwest.

My tapes tend toward the weird, hard to find, action, thriller, sports & the strange. But I'll throw some sealed classics in for good measure.

Reach out with any questions or specific types of tapes. I'm not holding out on anything but I'm happy to keep an eye out for reasonable tapes!

    I contacted the seller to see if they could do combined shipping on 2 items. The seller said “no problem” so I purchased. However although they shipped the items together I was still charged for separate shipping on each item. So I ended up paying almost $10 for media mail shipping on 2 tapes, which should have been closer to $5, even though I specifically contacted the seller beforehand to avoid that very thing. I guess if I bought 4 tapes I would have paid almost $20 shipping? Buyer beware

    This was an honest mistake. eBay can auto-combine shipping and sets my shipping prices for me. I make nothing on shipping. When it auto-combined it looked as if it would reimburse the $3.88 automatically. It was not. I've now corrected that and the $3.88 has been reimbursed. I didn't receive any messages about the error until the negative review was posted. - Lost Tapes PDX
