About us

We opened a bricks & mortar bookstore, The Book Haven in Lancaster, PA in 1978, which we shuttered and liquidated in 2012, and re-opend as an Online business the following year in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. We specialize in older and out-of-print BOOKS, PRINTS, PAINTINGS, AUTOGRAPHS & MANUSCRIPTS, MAPS and EPHEMERA, including Postcards, Stereoviews, Business Receipts, Trade Cards, Scrap Albums, Broadsides and more, maintaining a growing stock of approximately 650 items at any given time.

    These books are exquisite! Just as shown in the photos and described, these are in pristine condition. These were packaged in bubble wrap and shipped inside a protective box. The shipping costs were quite reasonable. Considering the condition of this set of 5 wonderful books, these were a great value! They would have arrived in reasonable time, but the USPS had them here but instead of delivering them, sent them to Omaha, then to Des Moines, and finally back here.
