    Generally positive buying experience. However, during shipment there was damage to the bookend for which the "floor" and the "wall" had NOT earlier been re-joined with some kind of adhesive. Said damage was exactly the sort that I had feared: Evidently, rough handling of the packaging had separated floor and wall on the previously UNrepaired bookend. Not happy about this.... though the 2-bookend set is, unquestionably, classically beautiful !
