About us

I am a book owner, first and foremost, and I treat my inventory just as I would want my own books to be handled. Books are not just another eBay category for me and I handle them as they need to be. Once they are added, they are shelved properly and kept in a climate controlled room awaiting your interest. I feel like books need special attention that some "yard sale" sellers just don't give to them.

Prices are based on current market value for each title across all major book selling websites. I don't generally run sales through eBay , but I will lower prices temporarily on certain titles from time to time to gauge interest.

I physically ship my books within 1 business day, barring any holiday or carrier delays. I do not consider it shipped until it is handed over to the carrier, so you won't have a book sitting here for a few days saying "shipped" and not actually moving.

    MAIN STREET BOOKS is terrific. Ordered the 9th, delivered on the 11th. And these two pristine volumes, a set, which I doubt had ever been opened were brilliantly cared for, bubble wrapped tightly, put in a much larger box and supported by copious peanuts. I see that your offer had been declined because it was below the minimum so when I sent that out I was hoping it would find you still looking for these books. Your order is greatly appreciated. I package 98% of my books in new boxes. Even when a new bubble mailer is used, I tend to send them tightly wrapped in cardboard and bubble wrap as well. The last thing I want is for someone's book to be damaged.

    You are very welcome! I try and grade on the conservative side, so I'm glad you feel it was as described and better. Packing the right way is a passion for me. Whether the book cost $15 or $1000, I don't feel it's fair to the customer who is tying up hard earned time and money to order a book and only to find that it was just thrown in a bubble mailer as is and shipped off with abandon.
