Martin House
Martin House provides care and support for children and young people with life-limiting illnesses, and their families. Our services are provided free of charge to families across West, North and East Yorkshire, and include respite care, symptom control, community care, end of life care and bereavement support. We also provide bereavement support to families whose child died from a life-limiting illness but did not have the opportunity to use the hospice.

About us

Martin House provides care and support every year to more than 400 babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions. From respite stays, emergency care, symptom control to end of life care, Martin House is there for poorly children and their families. Our team provide holistic, specialist care, supporting the family throughout the life of their child, and afterwards in bereavement. It costs £9 million every year to provide our care, so by shopping with us, you are helping us to support seriously ill children across West, North and East Yorkshire.
