About us

Who are Southern Hospice Group?

Last year we announced that Chestnut Tree House and our sister hospice St Barnabas House would be merging with Martlets in Hove to create one single hospice group. To allow us to complete some legal and administrative functions, we’ve needed to identify a new name for the group: Southern Hospice Group.

Together, we support children, young people and adults who have life-limiting conditions which will significantly shorten their lives. We help those we care for, and their loved ones, to make the most of the precious time they have left together. Our expert palliative services support local communities across Sussex and South East Hampshire – at our hospice sites and in people’s homes.

    All as advertised, packaging was very good, plenty of bubble wrap and other material to help, fragile labels clearly visible. Postage was a slight issue but this was down to email delivery day discrepancies, out of the sellers control. I consider the item to be reasonable value for money.     For such a delicate piece it was very well packaged. The postage was exceptionally good and delivery was great too. Very pleased with the sellers description and everything was as it should have been. Was a little disappointed that the offered reduction was never applied but it’s going to a great cause and I was happy to pay the whole price anyway as it was such good value. Thank You.     Happy with purchase. Postage ok, record as described, as priced was good value, only complaint is packaging has to be better for records. The cardboard used was old and crumpled. Recycled is good but need to be more choosey and use cardboard better suited for the job. Also home made package too big so record had slid to one end and was stuck to the wrapping tape
