About us

We are poineers in Scottish metal detecting and have been fundimental in changing the shape of metal detecting in Scotland since our first club in 2003. From building Scotlands first detecting internet forum to getting the first Scottish region of the NCMD going. We also founded the first ever weekly digs and rallies in Scotland so you are in extremely knowlagable hands when you deal with us.

The owner Colin Toddy Irvine is the authour of Metal Detecting In Scotland and also has been a field tester for the hobby magazines and manufacturers over the years. Our first shop was established around 2006 and then again in 2018 so we know our detectors. On land, Beach or Underwater we are experts.

In this day and age with shops closing at a rapid rate we are no different! We have not got a dedicated shop but we have combined our business with our Scuba Diving business so if you need to talk face to face with our experts then please make an appontment.
