The seller admitted it stated soft close in the listing, "which is our error" and went on to say SC was £45 more. He then said that they would pay for return postage only if I paid for the SC. The seat / lid seems good quality. I decided to keep it and received £7.50 compensation. I've since discovered the seat won't stay up and the whole thing is rather too big to fit the IS Tulip toilet. You chose to keep it, but given you knew it wasn't meant to be soft close, I offered a partial refund, which you accepted. 2. It is 100% designed for the Tulip and you've not contacted us about it not fitting, so likely installer error.
