  Yes it appears to be brand new and in its original packaging as posted, but it was a little dirty. That said, it arrived very promptly, packaged appropriately, and was fairly priced. I bought this as a backup so haven't installed it and thus can't vouch for whether it works or not. I expect it will. Would recommend this seller.
