Over 140 years ago, Masbanat Awaida was founded by a great enterpreneur; our great grandfather, Houssain Awaida decided to establish the the first olive oil soap factory in Lebanon to manufacture the over production of olive oil that north Lebanon is still very rich in.

While the world industrialized soap making in many ways to reduce costs in mass production using all sorts of chemicals and complicated processes, we maintained the heritage of our ancestors to bring to you same soap they used from the same ingredients, at the exact same location, using the same tools and processes.
