Wrapped in plastic, then 2 layers of small bubble wrap and a 3rd layer of large bubble wrap. It looks brand new and like it was never used! It was well packaged and no damage in shipping of any kind. The price was very fair and the shipping was so fast, it came from Japan to my home in Texas in just 2 days! That was worth every penny of the shipping charges.
