I was quite disappointed that the handle was broken when I received this bread box. I took a look back at the description and there was no mention of a broken handle. I did not contact seller, just glued it back on. Although it is now not a functional handle, it still looks nice.

My apologies. The handle was not perfect, it was old. I should have disclosed that information. The photos were not enough for explanation.
