Penntree Ltd is a Family Owned Business, with a workforce of some 20 people and over 60 years’ business experience. Our factory is working hard in 2025 to provide pallets and manufacture quality wood briquette fuel – HOTBLOCKS to Great Britain.
HotBlocks are a great recycling solution as they are made from clean, recycled wood collected by us from our own network of customers. It is then chipped, shredded and milled and put through our industrial magnets. The milled wood is then dried to a moisture content of below 10% to improve the fuel efficient briquettes.
For use all year round on woodburners, multi stoves, log boilers, chimeneas, fire-pits etc.

All well packaged and certainly none of them look like seconds. Logs are reasonably easy to light, give off a good heat and burn well in our log burners for a reasonable time. All in all excellent value for money - there may be better ones on the market giving off more immediate heat but they certainly don't cost less than 35p each like these do!
