So the promise of a delivery on Friday didn’t take place until the following Monday.

The way packages are handled in the post, given this was supplied with a heavy gallon of oil in a smallish box without sufficient packaging around the bottle isn’t surprising. However the company give the option of bidding a price for the item. When the company refused my bid I wondered what the point of this feature was for given that it had delayed the order by 24 hours
