  Item was new as stated, but due to its age the tape it was attached to the card with left a sticky residue. This was not the seller's fault, but rather the manufacturer's. That is why Mattel no longer uses tape to hold clothing items on the background card. Item was packaged well and arrived very fast after purchase. Pleased with seller.
