received item as described, sound quality is excellent just using 3.5mm connection. I use a DAC on occasion but, these IEM's sound wonderful without a DAC. Price is very reasonable and the performance compared to the single driver unit is quite noticeable. I did have an issue with one of my IEM's. I contacted the seller who responded quickly with a solution to the single IEM issue. Excellent product, good support after the sale and for the money, its a steal.
