    The shelf arrived very well packaged to prevent damage in transit, with good use of substantial cardboard pieces to protect the edges, etc, all enclosed within bubblewrap. (This is not a criticism of RLH but of the world in general, that the items were then contained within a large wrapping of apparently non-recyclable black plastic which will go to landfill). The shelf itself has been created with care, with the wood surface being lovely and smooth. I am very happy with its purchase.
