About us

In the 1990s, we began selling books that were initially purchased for our children, both of whom we home-schooled. We spared no expense (or at least shopped wisely) in getting them all the good (but not necessarily new) reading materials that were available, including history, biography, and fiction series such as: Landmark, Signature, We Were There, Childhood of Famous Americans, Happy Hollisters, Bobbsey Twins, Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys, Alice in Bibleland, Wonder Books, Golden Books, Arch Christian Books, etc. By the time they went to public high school and university, we had caught the book-collecting bug, and our inventory was large. Initially, we sold from our own website, readingwell.com (which we no longer own); later we changed over to selling on eBay, and have never looked back, since the potential customer reach is the best. To ease your mind, we describe all books in detail with multiple images, and carefully pack them to arrive in the same condition as they were when mailed.
