With regard to the order I placed this extended to a dent in the body of the bin itself. I sent the buyer a couple of photographs to confirm this and suggest rather than re-packing and returning it a refund would be appropriate to retain the lid which was in perfect working order. This was agreed instantly and the refund issued. Great service and I was happy with the outcome.
