The iPad was brand new, but was a US version so the charging plug in the box was not a UK 3 pin variant. This was not explained in the description, so I was initially puzzled by the inclusion of a cheap adapter in the parcel that arrived. However, I do have a spare Apple 3 pin USB C plug, so no issues. Now I also have an US adapter so all ends well.
