SJL-Trading are UK based suppliers of tungsten steel hand taps and dies for trade, industry, workshops, garages and hobbyists throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe. Our customers range from individual car and motorcycle restorers to industrial corporations to Formula One racing teams. Superior to carbon steel, our ‘Tungsten’ branded taps and dies are manufactured in hardened and tempered tungsten steel to Rockwell hardness standard 58-61C and are suitable for cutting new threads and repairing existing threads in mild steel, aluminium, copper, brass and other non-ferrous metals. We also supply a range of steel thread repair inserts including crank repair solutions for cyclists and the bicycle trade.
