SJL-Trading is the ebay storefront for Tungsten Taps who are UK based suppliers of tungsten steel and HSS hand taps and dies to trade, industry, workshops, garages and hobbyists throughout the UK and EU. Our customers range from individual car and motorcycle restorers to industrial corporations to Formula One racing teams. Far superior to carbon steel, our ‘Tungsten’ branded taps and dies are manufactured in hardened and tempered tungsten steel to Rockwell hardness standard 58-61C and are suitable for cutting new threads and repairing existing threads in mild steel, aluminium, copper, brass and other non-ferrous metals. We also supply High-Speed Steel (HSS) taps and dies which may be more suitable for large batch machine tapping processes.
